The conference will take place in Howison Library on the 3rd floor of Moses Hall, home to the philosophy department. Coffee breaks will take place in the graduate student lounge in 301 Moses Hall.
Moses Hall has an accessible entrance on the lower level and is serviced by an elevator.
By plane: You can fly into either San Francisco International Airport (SFO) or Oakland International Airport (OAK).
By train: The Berkeley campus is a 10-15 minute walk from the Downtown Berkeley BART station.
If you are flying into SFO, take the Pittsburg Bay Point line from the airport. Transfer at 19th St. Oakland City Center to the Richmond Line, which will be waiting across the platform. Get out at Downtown Berkeley and walk along Center St. to enter campus from the west entrance. Total travel time is approximately 75 minutes.
If you are flying into OAK, take the Air Train to the Coliseum BART Station and then transfer to the Richmond Line. Get out at Downtown Berkeley and walk to campus. Total travel time is approximately 60 minutes.
By car: Parking is limited close to campus but parking spots can be found along the south and west edges of campus. If you are planning on driving and need to park close to Moses Hall, get in touch with us and we can procure you a pass that will allow you to park on campus.
There are a number of hotels within walking distance from the Berkeley campus, including:
Shattuck Hotel, in the heart of Downtown Berkeley and a 15 minute walk to campus.
Hotel Durant, conveniently located just south of campus.
Berkeley City Club, a quaint hotel just south of campus and listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
